Abstract
The ease of distortion of saturated nitrogen heterocycles has been examined by progressively increasing the bulk of the substituent at nitrogen. The heterocycles included the pharmacophoric piperidine and morpholine six-membered rings, as well as the five- membered oxazolidine ring.
