Abstract

All showed greater antispasmodic activity than the parent ketone, but none showed the maximum rating of the testing method. 2. Seventeen homologous piperidyl tertiary alcohols were prepared similarly from/3-(1-piperidyl)-propiophenone. Nine of these showed the maximum antispasmodic activity-rating of the testing method.
