Abstract

ABSTRACT A new environmental benign method for synthesis of phenothiazine derivatives using microwave irradiation has reported. A mixture of o-substituted aromatic amine and p- substituted phenol converted into biphenyl amine derivative using microwave irradiation. Further, thionation of biphenyl amines under same irradiation has provided the title phenothiazine derivatives. The later compounds then oxidized to their 5, 5-dioxide ...
