Abstract

Abstract Perfluoro-(2, 4-dimethyl-3-oxa-2, 4-diazapentane) reacts with tris (trifluoromethyl) phosphine and-arsine to afford [(CF 3) 2 N] n M (CF 3) 3-n (M= P, n= 1, 2, and 3; and M= As, n= 1, and 2), tris (trifluoromethyl) hydroxylamine being eliminated in each case. The reactions with tris (trifluoromethyl) stibine, on the other hand, give antimony trifluoride, tris (trifluoromethyl) hydroxylamine and perfluoro-2-azapropene.
