Abstract
Abstract: A route to enantiopure isolevoglucosenone, a regioisomer of levoglucosenone and a potential chiral building block, has been developed by employing lipase-mediated kinetic resolution as the key step. Key words: isolevoglucosenone, lipase-mediated kinetic resolution, enantioselective kinetic resolution, enantioselective hydrolysis, chiral building block
