Abstract
Multinuclear platinum anticancer complexes are a proven option to overcome resistance of established anticancer compounds. Transferring this concept to ruthenium complexes led to the synthesis of dinuclear Ru (II)− arene compounds containing a bis (pyridinone) alkane ligand linker.
