Abstract

Results All measurements were carried out under oxygen-free conditions by using nanosecond laser flash photolysis techniques. The samples were excited with the pulses (337.1 nm,-8 ns, up to 10 mJ) from a nitrogen laser, and the resulting transient absorptions were monitored with a detection system with nanosecond response. tert-Butoxyl radicals were produced by direct photodecomposition of di-tert-butyl peroxide.
