Abstract

The dependence of organogel and liquid crystalline properties of a series of amino acids- based dendrons on the focal groups, dendritic branches, and generations is described. It revealed that both organogel and LC properties of the dendrons subject are to the dendritic effect. Also, a minor change at the focal point in dendritic branches or on the periphery of the dendrons affects their self-assembly behavior greatly.
