Abstract
Abstract That supramolecular order on the nanometer scale in the crystalline state can be created by using both π–π stacking and hydrogen bonding interactions marks a significant development in the fields of crystal engineering and supramolecular chemistry. The design and construction of pseudorotaxane monomers (see figure) via self-assembly is described, which are then further assembled to form linear pseudopolyrotaxane columns.
