Abstract
In light of the cytostatic properties of the ferricenium radical cation against certain murine tumors, it has been of interest to combine the biooxidizable ferrocenyl group with the structural framework of the anticancer agent cisplatin (cis-diamminedichloroplatinum (I1)). Dichloro (1, 6-diferrocenyl-2, 5-diazahex-ane) platinum (II)(2), and cis-dichlorobis (l- ferrocenylethylamine) platinum (II)(4) are presented as examples of such combination. ...
