Abstract

The test microorganisms consisted of stock laboratory strains of Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, aiid Saccharomyces cerecisiae. The minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) of each compound, as\ yell as of each of four antibiotics, for the test organisms was determined by the agar dilution method.
