Abstract

Abstract The phthalazine Reissert compound has been used to convert phthalazine to 1- benzylphthalazines, bisbenzylphthalazines, 1, 4-disubstituted phthalazines, 1- cyanophthalazine, and a number of other phthalazine derivatives including the tricyclic compound 14.
