Abstract

Abstract Synthetic routes to the title compounds were explored. 1, 2, 5, 6- Tetraacetylperhydro-1, 2, 5, 6-tetrazocine (6, 36%) was produced from ethylene glycol bis-p- toluenesulfonate and the potassium salt of 1, 2-bis (N, N′-diacetylhydrazino) ethane in refluxing mesitylene.
