Abstract: 1, l'-Azobis (1, 3-[l-13C] diphenylpropane)(lb) and 4, 4'-azobis (4-phenyl [4-” C] butyronitrile)(IC) were prepared in overall yields of 10% and 1.2%, respectively, both starting from BaI3CO3 (99 atom $6).
