Abstract

Treatment of diethyl a-(N-alky1amino) benzylphosphonates with thionyl chloride, p- nitrophenol, and tri: ethylamine causes conversion to the triethylamine salt of di-p- nitrophenyl hydrogen phosphate. The products of converaion were compared with compounds of known structure obtained by another preparation and found to be identical.
