Abstract

The maltooligosyltrehalose trehalohydrolase (MTHase) mainly cleaves the α-1, 4-glucosidic linkage next to the α-1, 1-linked terminal disaccharide of maltooligosyltrehalose to produce trehalose and the maltooligosaccharide with lower molecular mass.
