Abstract

In the present investigation a variety of compounds have been made which contain the tetrahydrothiophene 1, l-dioxide or sulfolane ring. This grouping has been incorporated into a number of compounds structurally related to well known chemotherapeutic agents for the purpose of pharmacological and microbiological evaluation.
