Abstract
Several curcuminoids and tetrahydrocurcuminoids (THCs), bearing various hydroxyl and/or methoxy groups on their benzene rings, have been synthesized to study their antioxidant and hydrogen donating capacities using the DPPH method at 25° C in methanol.
