Abstract
Photochemical alkylation with aliphatic carboxylic acids is an intriguing method not only in synthetic chemistry but also in mechanistic photochemistry. As a most promising candidate for the alkylation, an electron donor-acceptor (EDA) system is proposed in the photochemical reaction.
