Abstract
Abstract The reaction of carboxamides and dialkoxymethanes can be affected by sulfonic acids (methanesulfonic acid, p-toluenesulfonic acid, and Nafion-H SAC-13 silica nanocomposite) to yield N-alkoxymethylcarboxamides. Various types of N-alkyl-and N-aryl- substituted acetamides can be reacted in a one-step procedure to give the products in moderate to good yields.
