Abstract

Initial binding studies with a series of anions F − , Cl − , H 2 PO 4 − , HSO 4 − and PhCO 2 − were carried out by 1 H-NMR titration experiments in acetone-d 6 as solvent. By monitoring the peak assigned to the pyrrole ring NH protons of the respective indolocarbazole derivative, significant downfield shifts could be detected as a result of anion complexation.
