Abstract
The compound RU,(CO)~(~~-CO)(~~-S)(1) has been prepared by three methods: pyrolysis and photolysis of RU,(CO)~~(~-SPh)(pH), in 89% and 80% yields, respectively, and the reaction of RU~(CO)~, and ethylene sulfide in 67% yield. The compound RU~(CO)~(~~- S),(3) was prepared in 94% yield from the reaction of RU,(CO)~~ with an excess of ethylene sulfide. Compound 3 was also obtained from the reaction of 1 with ethylene sulfide in 97% ...
