Abstract

The synthesis and the pharmacological evaluation of benzisothiazole and benzimidazole tetrazolyl-and carboxyl-derivatives 1–6 are described. Structural modification was aimed at investigating the influence of two isosteric substituents (tetrazolyl-and carboxyl-) on the title benzofused heterocycles.
