Abstract
Phosphorus (III) compounds are the ancillary ligands of choice in many areas of modern homogeneous catalysis,[1, 2] from bulk chemical processes (eg hydroformylation, hydrocyanation, carbonylation) to fine-chemicals production (eg asymmetric hydrogenation, CÀC coupling, CÀN coupling). The field is dominated by ligands containing PÀC and PÀO bonds with a few examples featuring PÀN bonds. This fact is not surprising, because ...
