Abstract

Abstract A very easy access to new trifluoromethyl-hydroxyethylamine (Tf-HEA) derivatives by epoxide ring opening with amino-containing compounds, including aliphatic amines, aniline, aqueous ammonia, hydroxylamine, hydrazine, amino acids and a dipeptide, is described herein.
