Abstract
Imidazole ring is a structural fragment of the amino acid histidine which is included in almost all enzymes. It is known that imidazole is capable of catalyzing a number of biochemical processes [1, 2]. We previously showed that poly (N-vinylimidazole) can be used as polymeric support (ligand) for palladium and that such system is an efficient and recyclable catalyst for cross-coupling reactions [3].
