Abstract
Abstract Copper (II) triflate doubly catalyzed the substitution of benzylic acetates by TMSN 3 and the subsequent 1, 3-dipolar addition with an alkyne in one pot. This procedure afforded the preparation of 1, 4-disubstituted 1, 2, 3-triazoles in good yields starting from the easily accessible acetates without isolating an organic azide using a single catalyst.
