Abstract
INTRODUCTION In the course of our investigation of anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory natural products [l-3], we have stud- ied the constituents in the rhizomes of Curcuma domestica Val. (Zingiberaceae), which have been used, not only as yellow colouring agent, but also for traditional medicine in Asia.
