Abstract

Abstract The phosphorothioate analog of dihydroxyacetone phosphate has been prepared by reaction of bromohydroxyacetone with trisodium thiophosphate in aqueous solution. The enzymatic oxidation of 3-amino-1, 2-propanediol phosphoramide with glycerol-3-phosphate oxidase has been demonstrated as a route to the corresponding phosphoramide analog.
