Abstract
Suzuki cross-coupling of a bromoaromatic anhydride with 2-methoxyboronic acid afforded a novel oxoxanthenoisoquinoline. Subsequent coupling with 2, 3, 4, 6-tetra-O-acetyl-d- galactose-1, 3-diyl phosphate gave a fluorophore.
