Abstract
The use of zeolites as catalysts in the Fischer indole synthesis has been studied on five unsymmetrical ketone substrates with 14 different zeolites. Both the corresponding phenylhydrazone and the parent ketone in the presence of phenylhydrazine were used as substrates.
