Abstract

Abstract Upon reaction of 1??(2??hydroxyphenyl)??3??phenylpropane??1??ones (2′??hydroxy?? dihydrochalcones) with dimethylaminodimethoxymethane in boiling toluene, the corresponding 3??benzylchromones are obtained in excellent yields.
