Abstract

Abstract: A mild and efficient new method for the preparation of O-acyl derivatives of N- hydroxythiazole-2 (3H)-thiones and N-hydroxypyridine-2 (1H)-thiones (Barton-anhydrides) from cyclic thiohydroxamic acids, carboxylic acids, propane phosphonic acid anhydride (PPAA) and 1, 4-diazabicyclo [2.2. 2] octane (DABCO) was developed.
