Abstract

The hydrazine of isonicotinic acid (I) with HNO 2 gave the azide (H), which was reacted with GABA in the presence of NaOH. From the sodium salt of N-isonicotinoyl-GABA (III) was obtained the hydrochloride of the acid chloride of N-isonicotinoyl-GABA (IV}, which was condensed with freshly prepared d, la-tocopherol (V) in the presence of pyridine.
