Abstract

Abstract The Liquid crystal behavior of twenty-three N-(p-phenylbenzylidene)-p- alkoxycarbonyl-anilines has been examined by optical microscopy and differential scanning calorimetry in order to study the effects of branching of the alkyl groups.
