Abstract

Three phosphines and their corresponding oxides bearing one 2-pyridone ring and two benzene rings were synthesized. Their single-crystal X-ray analyses exhibited three kinds of molecular aggregation: bimolecular aggregates, chiral one-dimensional structures, and achiral one-dimensional structures.
