Abstract

Abstract The phosphorylation of N-trimethylsilyllactams by phosphorus (III) acid chlorides results in corresponding N-phosphinolactams in high yields. The derivatives thus obtained have been used in the synthesis of N-phosphoryl-and N-thiophosphoryllactams. The reversibility of the reaction of phosphinolactams has been established.
