Abstract

The Mannich-type aminoalkylation reaction of enolizable aldehydes with morpholine and glyoxylic acid instead of formaldehyde was investigated in basic and neutral media were obtained a, y-dimorpholinobutanolides 2 and a-morpholino-y-hydroxybutanolides 1, respectively.
