Abstract

Synthesis of many insaturated compounds derivated from cysteamine has been carried out in the three series: β-aminothioethers, β-aminothiols and thiazolidines. These products are more or less toxic, compared to corresponding saturated derivates. They generally have a higher radioprotective activity. The three most effective have a DRF equivalent to those of cysteamine, two of them having a lower toxicity
