Abstract

Abstract The possibility of formation of substituted heterocyclic amides from heteroacyl azides and aromatic or heteroaromatic amines was investigated. Although acylation proceeded in some cases under mild reaction conditions, formation of N, N′-disubstituted ureas was the main process at elevated temperatures.
