Abstract

The title compounds 4 have potential as protected derivatives of primary aliphatic amines. They are more stable to acid than the corresponding Stabase and Benzostabase derivatives 2 and 3, and are stable to flash chromatography on silica gel using all but the least polar solvent systems.
