Abstract
Thermal and photolytic decompositions of azobis (2-phenoxy)-2-propane have been studied. More than half of the 2-phenoxyprop-2-yl radicals thus produced thermally cause the phenyl group to migrate from oxygen to the carbon, followed by elimination of the methyl group.
