Abstract

A series of bisbenzaldehydes and structurally related analogs, conveniently synthesized via microwave-assisted reactions, were evaluated in vitro against drug susceptible and multi- drug resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis, against virulent Mycobacterium bovis, against Mycobacterium ulcerans and against two Mycobacterium avium subspecies.
