Abstract

Results The synthetic route is a straightforward application of known procedures but was found only after several seemingly equivalent alternatives proved unsuccessful.(s)- Pinanediol vinylboronate (1) reacted with (dichloromethy1) lithium in the usual manner7p8 to provide (s)-pinanediol (1s)-1-chloroallylboronate (2), which with lithiohexamethyldisilazane yielded the silylated amino boronic ester 3.
