Abstract
Reactions that form carbon–carbon bonds are the basis for organic chemistry, setting up the carbon framework of organic molecules. In particular, the formation of CÀC bonds by organo- or metal-catalyzed activation of CÀH bonds [1] has recently obtained increased attention.[2] However, to the best of our knowledge, no biocatalytic oxidative CÀC bondforming reaction has yet been exploited for synthetic purposes. To date, biocatalysis only offers a limited ...
