Abstract

We report the first synthesis of sanguinamide B analogues. Substituting N-methylated (N- Me) amino acids, glycine (Gly), and l-or d-phenylalanine (Phe) into the backbone of sanguinamide B showed that only l-and d-Phe residues controlled the macrocycle conformation.
