Abstract
B a~ er,~ Hewitt and King,* and Beguin and Hamilton5 all have reported on these factors. Phosphorus trichloride was used successfully by the last-named workers to reduce amino substituted derivatives of the acid and they prepared three such oxides, the 4-carbethoxy-, carbo-n-propoxyand carbobenzoxy-2-hydroxyphenylarsine oxides.
