Abstract

Method B. Methyl carbobenzoxy-L-prolyl-L-leucinate (3.8 g.) was dissolved in methanol (15 ml.). Normal sodium hydroxide (10.5 ml.) was added and the resulting solution was stirred at room temperature for 2 hr. The solution w3s then acaidified by the slow addition of concentrated hydrochloric acid. Methanol was removed in umuo.
