Abstract

Kinetics of the acetolysis of a series of alkyl-substituted neopentyl p- bromobenzenesulfonates, RC, q (CH3) z-CaHYOBs, has been investigated. Firsborder rate constants have been determined at three temperatures and values for AH* and AS* derived for nine esters.
