Abstract
Benzoyl isothiocyanate readily combines with arylaminoethanols, phenylaminopropanol, phenylaminoacetic acid, or anthranilic acid. Dehydration of the resulting thioureas yields thiazolidines, a thiazane, a 2-thioimidazolone, or a quinazoline derivative as the case may be. Desulfurization of the acylethanolthioureas results in forming oxazolidines. Some thirty acyl isothiocyanates are described in the literature but none is derived from a heterocyclic ...
